Dandenong: have you ever met a bunch of people so proud of their postcode?
Local knowledge was the key to this course forcing regular competitors to dig deep into their bag of tricks. Highlights include: Jack Kelly’s trademark toothhang, Aaron Healey’s whip transfer on the channel gap, Nick Ford’s gap-to-tooth grind, Dylan Pell’s double whip transfer, Jake Deering’s FJ/backpedal/270, Jess Cini's whip in front of a home crowd and Tom Bradley achieved a bunch of tricks most notably a smooooth truck driver.

Diamond Creek BMX Throwdown is on this weekend.

Strictly team riders Mick Bayzand & Chris Finnigan were in the store a few days back. Mick is on his way back to Adelaide after being on the road riding for god knows how long, and Finnigan isn't long back from Spain.

Chris's Spanish connections have recently grown. As well as riding for Fly Bikes he's now being hooked up by Spanish sweet maker Chupa Chups.

Local Caleb Johnson took out the 12 & unders with his bowl steeze – back-to-back whips and baries. Keep your eyes out for this kid in years to come!
 
Chris Nicol and Todd James came just behind Jai Bradley in the 16 & unders. Good to see these guys using the whole park with some original lines to build-up points.
 
Local Daniel Lochki took out the opens and put down some the highest airs of the comp. hands down. Props to Luke Parker and Peter Maver coming in 2nd and 3rd. Special mention to Logan for some original lines and gaps in the bowl, Dylan for the double whip transfer, and Mat with the huge cans (can-airs that is, you sicko!).

BMX registration @ 10am

The 6th heat of the South Eastern League was high vibin’ and packed out. With the BMX lads up first it was a day of super impressive display of style.
With season veteran Dylan Bailey taking out 1st place in the under 12's again with Tanner Eanes getting 2nd and Tom Whyte getting 3rd.
 
In the under 16's it was once again the mighty mouse Jai Bradley taking out 1st with his hard to ignore massive style at such a young age. His good buddy Jess Cini got 2nd and his brother Tom Bradley got 3rd.
 
Local all round nice guy Lee Mans killed it in the opens to own 1st place with his bangin' unique style that even had skateboarders hyped. 2nd went to tech god Dylan Pell and 3rd went to Luke Parker. How can we not mention local entrepreneur Fuzz? Going chainless in the big bowl to cop us a crazy flair in the deep end after stacking the first attempt. Keep on rocking you metal man!
