Gary Young took 1st in the elimination round and is seemingly killing it just now. Judging by some of the reports/photos Morgan Wade, BMX's loose canon, has been causing himself & his bike some harm! Corey Bohan is holding it up for the Aussie's as Ryan Guettler is still suffering from his shoulder injury and can't ride his best.

HRVfitness sent two of their finest to represent at the 2010 UCI BMX World Titles held in South Africa. Brandon Te Hiko and Jaden Rice. Both riders are in devastating form after winning their respected classes at the recent Australian Titles in Shepparton.
Brandon put in a fantastic performance and managed to come away with #3 World in the 13 boys. This was Brandon’s second worlds, and after a bad spill at last year he was out to prove a point. But the big news was the “Dominator” Jaden Rice. Jaden has looked strong all year and when it came to final time he didn’t pull any punches. The big fella dropped the hammer and came away with his first gold at a world event.
Congratulations to both riders. What a fantastic job.

This looks awesome. Actually it looks beyond awesome. Machotaildrop is the story of Walter Rhum & his quest to become a pro skateboarder.
From the previews it looks insanely weird & massively entertaining.
It's the product of Corey Adams & Alex Craig who won a Fuel TV contest with their short film "Harvey Spannos". The prize for that contest was $1 million to produce a feature length film. If you're familiar with the skate world you'll recognise the names, John Rattray, Rick McCrank & Steve Olsen who all have pretty major roles in the film.
At the moment there seems to be no news on a general release for the film. It has been featured in the Toronto International Film Festival & screened in NYC so hopefully something will happen here soon. In the meantime check the amazing trailer here. I'm especially stoked on this as I grew up in the same tight knit skate/bmx community as John Rattray & at one time had Alex Craig as a flatmate. Stoked to see friends achieve their goals & create something so groundbreaking. - Paul

A huge cast of riders were at the Nike 6.0 BCN Pro in Barcelona this weekend, but after a scorching practice day the finals were rained off. Nike definitely stepped-up for this one with a course that took over 2 weeks to put together and looked awesome. Winter here has been sucking. It hasn't seemed to stop raining and on top of that I've done something to my hand an haven't been able to ride. Been digging every day while the grounds soft and to keep me entertained... the trails are coming along and I can't wait to hit them.
