Biggest influences in BMX:
Simone Barraco, Liam zingbergs and Mark Burnett.
Where are you living at the moment? And where did you grow up?
Currently living in Adelaide, also grew up here but lived in Hobart for 3 years when I was 14-17. I first properly started riding down there.
What does a regular Saturday out on the bike usually consist of?
Before anything a coffee, then usually warm up at a park close to the spots we want to hit or a park we want to ride then find spots around it. If we’re lucky we might get a clip or two then usually all bail to go home or sometimes grab some food and chill.
What are you doing for work these days?
I’m currently building submarine batteries, been doing that for the better part of 7 years.
Top 3 places you’ve ridden over the years:
Haven’t really done too many trips on my bike but Canberra would have to be number one, so many good parks there, some good spots and just a beautiful place. Melbourne’s obviously up there even though my only riding trip there was pretty short. Hobart/Tasmania’s always fun to go visit again whenever I go down there, all the spots and parks are so old they’re all so unique.
What are your interests outside of Riding?
Just about anything to do with music, going to gigs, collecting vinyl and just deep diving into different artists. I use to be pretty into my cars but money’s a bit tighter these days.
Tell us something about your local scene:
Personally I think Adelaide holds some of the best riders in Australia but not many people know of them due to our scene being pretty small and quiet.
What’s your “go-to” trick you just have to do every session out on your bike?
Probably a bar spin or a luc-e grind. Bars have been my go to trick for years now, I just learnt them one day and never stopped doing them and a luc-e is probably the best feeling trick you can do (iykyk).
What motivates you to go out and ride all the time?
I have a bit of a creative mindset and BMX is one of the easiest ways I can satisfy that need. I also just love being out with my mates having good laugh. Plus there’s no better feeling than rolling away from a new trick or a clip you’re stoked on.
Favourite Product that you run?
Honestly probably just my S&M Hoder grips, they’re just so damn comfy.
